The strange reasons that motivate people to be readers

Many of my friends do not understand why I still watch the ‘Harry Potter’ series of movies and yet I have already graduated in college and have a very stable job that offers me financial security. They do not understand how a grownup can still be in to the fantasy movies. What they do not realize is that these are the movies that motivated me to be a reader. When I was a child, I hated reading. The only reason that I passed my exams is that because I could retain a lot of information when the teacher was teaching. There is a time I was grounded and all my TV ,privileges were taken away. I would spend a lot of time in my room and that is when I decided to look at the books that my parents had bought me. That is when I found the ‘Harry Potter’ books that represented my favorite movies of all time. Since I could not watch the actual movie, I thought why not see daniel radcliffe as Harry Potter in action in the book? I grew to love the books, and I read all seven of them and read other books too.
