Building as you will agree with me is not a task for weaklings and so much physical and mental strength go to it. Those have been contracted to build a house or building of any kind should put it in their minds that they are protected by the law as they do their work. This protection is under the clause known as consumer rights building work. You could for example finish the building work only to find that the person who has contracted you has refused to pay you as per the agreement. This is unfair to you for apart from using your time and generally your all has been used. At this point you need to get a copy of the contract that you signed with the owner of the building and take your claim to the authorities preferably who deal with these issues and within no time your problem will have gotten a solution. If there was no written contract you can go with those who worked with you and you will with no doubt get help.
