Whenever I go down to the local motorhomes park, and browse the motorhomes for sale, I get into the holiday spirit. I just imagine where I could go - to the Norfolk Broads, to the Cotswolds, maybe over to Devon - or perhaps even further afield to mainland Europe. The world is my oyster - the only thing stopping me is myself - I just need to have the confidence to go ahead and do it (which I believe I can). I have a good friend who goes on motorhome holidays all the time and he's been to so many countries and made so many friends doing what he does. The amount of money you save from not using hotels or eating out is considerable - it really is the cheapest way to holiday and travel. So perhaps I should stop thinking about it and get myself a motorhome and take my family on a trip! |

Generically called “specified disease policy”, cancer insurance provides benefits if you are diagnosed with cancer as defined by the terms and conditions of the contract. Although these policies offer limited direct benefits for the diagnosis and/or treatment of cancer, they provide benefits based upon specified costs of healthcare services and expenses incurred in conjunction with the treatment of cancer. Some cancer policies, however, are like critical cover insurance policies and payout a lump-sum benefit upon diagnosis. Obviously, cancer insurance policies that have comprehensive benefits and coverage will definitely cost more than policies with limited coverage. In addition, premiums will increase as you get older, or may increase if total claims paid for consumers covered under a company’s specific cancer policy increase beyond the company’s expectations.
Typically, the provisions are very specific and limit benefits to narrowly-defined covered illness and/or injury. Specified disease policies generally exclude benefits for any disease or sickness that is diagnosed prior to the policy effective date. Other forms of specified disease insurance may include heart attack or stroke policies. |
